Harvest Marathon 2023 is Coming, Here’s What You Need to Know

Last Bottle’s annual Harvest Marathon is BACK, baby! Are you stoked, because WE’RE STOKED. We can hardly wait for the day, which is, mark your calendars, Thursday August 24th and Friday August 25th! The sale starts at 9 AM sharp, and doesn’t stop until Saturday morning.

We celebrate the harvest season a little differently here at Last Bottle HQ. For 48 hours, we will be holding a rapid-fire sale of thousands (literally, thousands) of wines. We will be selling each offer on the site for a matter of minutes, just like any other day on Last Bottle, but at HYPERSPEED. One wine after another at jaw-dropping prices all day (and night) long.

The collection of wines is out of this world, the prices are the best you’ve EVER seen, and, here’s the kicker– ALL SHIPPING IS FREE. We know, we’re awesome.

We want to make sure all of our favorite wine geeks are prepped for this blowout sale, so everyone can get the wine of their dreams! So without further ado, here is our guide to the Last Bottle Harvest Marathon 2023:

How Last Bottle Marathon Shopping Works

At any point during the event, there will be only ONE wine on the site, but know that the offer will only be available for an extremely limited time, 5 minutes max. To secure the offer before it goes away, you must complete the checkout process. (If you pre-saved your shipping and credit info in your account, this will only be three clicks.)

Buyer beware! Wines will be unceremoniously dumped out of your cart once a new offer has arrived on the site. Wines will NOT be saved for you if you leave them in your cart. With that in mind, our BIGGEST Marathon tip is to refrain from hesitation! Marathon is fast– and if you want the juice, you gotta have speedy fingers.

Your Marathon will consist of many many small purchases, but fear not! You will not receive several tiny wine packages. Once the event is complete, our team will combine your Marathon orders so you receive all of your wines together.

How to Prepare for Marathon

Okay, if you’re new to this, the idea of preparing for a wine sale sounds… intense, but seasoned LB Marathoners know that preparation is the difference between scoring the wine of your dreams… and not. We call it a marathon for a reason, afterall! Here’s what the Olympic-level Last Bottle Marathon shoppers will do before the sale starts on Thursday.

Double check all account information is correct

Log into your Last Bottle accountant to ensure your shipping address and credit information is correct so your orders get into your hands as soon as possible. Make sure your info is pre-saved so you can complete the checkout process before a new wine is posted onto the home page.

Send in requests on social media

Stay tuned on our socials throughout the week; we will be asking for your requests!! The earlier you send them in, the more likely we are to be able to find that wine for you. We’re on everything that you are– Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Reddit, Threads, you name it. Shoot us a message, comment on our posts, and stream our Instagram Live throughout the Marathon!

Download an automatic browser refresh extension

This sale moves lightning-fast, and if you want to be ahead of the curb, we recommend downloading an automatic browser refresher. A 2-second browser extension will take the task of refreshing off of your plate, and save your fingers from developing carpal tunnel. With one of these bad boys, you’ll be the first to see a new wine when it hits the front page of our site!

This is especially important for those who have requested something special. Sometimes, we have as little as ONE bottle of a request in the warehouse, and if you want it you have to be FAST.

How to Get Free $$ Towards Your Orders

Our referral policy gets you and your friends extra cash to spend at Last Bottle– and you can use that cash during our Marathon! YAY WINE! YAY FRIENDSHIP!!

When you invite friends and family to join Last Bottle with your referral code, they’ll get $10 added to their account upon sign-up, and you will get $30 added to yours when they make their first purchase!! That kind of cash goes far in a sale like this, and it’s not too late to get all of your referrals in before the big day.

Thursday, August 24th

9:00 AM– Marathon begins

The hour of brag-worthy, fancy-smancy, EPIC wines. We have celebrity producers, top scorers, legendary labels, cult wines, and all around cellar showpieces at the best prices available.

4:00 PM– Requests Hour

We will be fulfilling as many requests from our socials as we can!

Our lowest inventory wines that will sell out FAST (sometimes in mere seconds!) Refresh, refresh, refresh!

Friday, August 25th

9:00 AM– Marathon begins

2:00-4:00 PM– Around the World

Put some stamps in your passport and shop your favorite wine-making nations– Italy, France, Germany, and California! You’ll get 20 minutes to score bottles from each country on our world tour, here’s how the hour breaks down:

Saturday, August 26th

12:00 PM– End of Marathon… and a special surprise

After the dust is settled and the warehouse is empty, there’s only one thing left to do: schedule your wine delivery. (We may also have more fun stuff for you in store, wink wink.)

Look out for an email from us to select your shipping preferences. All of your marathon orders will be consolidated and shipped from our warehouse. You’ll have 48 hours to submit your survey; all orders without a response will automatically be assigned to the Fall Shipping Push, where we will hold your wine (free of charge) until it is cool enough to ship to your state.
