Producing great wine is just one way a winery can make an impression on a visitor. Another way to leave a mark in a visitor’s mind is to impress them with unforgettable architecture. Winery owners take all sorts of approaches when building their temples – from mock Mediterranean Revival style to massive contemporary barns and completely one-off, whimsical designs that look like they were plucked straight from a Brothers Grimm fairytale, there are so many great examples to be found around the world.
