What is the Last Bottle Marathon?

If you know Last Bottle, you know that each day we offer just ONE wine on our site, always at an unbeatable price, and typically selling out within a few hours. Sometimes we come across wines that are too good to pass up, but don’t have enough stock for a daily offer– that’s where the Marathon comes in! During the Marathon, we flip that one-wine-per-day system on its head and offer wine after wine after wine! This is the only event where you can fill your cellar with Last Bottle’s stock of world wines, flipping every few minutes.

How Does the Last Bottle Marathon Work?

At any point during the event, there will be only ONE wine on the site, but know that the offer will only be available for an extremely limited time (5 minutes max, but sometimes only SECONDS). To secure the offer before it goes away, you must complete the checkout process. If you pre-saved your shipping and credit info in your account, the checkout process will only be three clicks.

Buyer beware! Wines will be unceremoniously dumped out of your cart once a new offer has arrived on the site. Wines will NOT be saved for you if you leave them in your cart. That means you’ve gotta place an order on each and every wine that tickles your fancy!

With that in mind, our BIGGEST Marathon tip is to refrain from hesitation! Marathon is fast– and if you want the juice, you gotta have speedy fingers.

Here’s what we have in store for the Last Bottle Marathon, Spring 2024:

Thursday, March 28: Last Bottle Marathon Day One

9:00 AM (PT) – Marathon Begins
Set your alarms for 9 AM– sharp! This is PACIFIC time, so don’t show up too early. We’ll be kicking off the fun at the top of the hour.
1:00 PM (PT) – Hour of Power
We’ll be offering our cultiest, rarest, brag-worthiest bottles for one whole hour. Stay tuned for our finest selection of cellar stars.

2:00 PM (PT) – Spring Fling
We are (Spring) Flinging out Last Bottle credits– only on the Last Bottle app. When you buy the last bottle of an offer (and these are ultra low-inventory bottles) you’ll get a $100 account credit!
3:00 PM (PT) – Marathon: Live
Ever wonder who runs this show?! Tune into our Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and YouTube accounts for a live hour with the Last Bottlers. We’ll be talking though (and tasting!) our staff-favorites as they go live on the site!
4:00 PM (PT) – Requests Hour
Your social media requests take center stage for one hour only! Have a request to submit? Head to our socials and leave us a comment.
Sunset to Sunrise– Skeleton Crew
Just because the sun is down doesn’t mean that the party is over! During our Skeleton Crew hours (7:00pm PT onward), we will be offering ultra low-inventory bottles. These wines will move fast– so bring your A-game and an espresso, Marathoners!

Friday, March 29: Last Bottle Marathon Day Two

Just like Thursday, we’re serving up even MORE of our cult-iest bottles.

2:00 PM (PT) – Spring Fling
If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, it’s high time you do so. We are flinging out $100 Last Bottle credits– only on the Last Bottle app. Join us on the app for Round 2. For this hour, we will be offering ultra-low inventory bottles, and if you order the very last last bottle, we will put an extra $100 into your account.

Your Spring Marathon will consist of many many small purchases, but fear not! You will not receive several tiny wine packages. Once the event is complete, our team will combine your Marathon orders so you receive all of your wines together.
